Our client is recruiting an Architect to join their successful and well-established Architects practice in Thetford. My clients specialise in full Architectural, planning and design for new builds, extensions, refurbishments on listed buildings and conservations. They have a strong reputation with local planning authorities and have won many awards for their construction and design.
As an Architect your role will involve:
- Working on high-end housing developments
- Commercial schemes
- Bespoke private residential projects
- Planning and designing through to technical and construction packages
- Liaising with external clients, colleagues and stakeholders
- Running projects independently and as a part of a team
- Managing the planning process from meeting the client, cost estimates and delivery to the site
- Developing design proposals and presentation drawings
To be considered for the Architect role you must have:
- Knowledge of Vectorworks CAD software would be desirable
- At least 3 years of experience in this sector
- Knowledge of Architecture and/or technical construction detailing
- Ability to project manage and problem solve
- Good working knowledge of Building Regulations
- Excellent technical ability
Working hours for the Architect:
- Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Salary/Package of the Architect:
- £40,000 - £55,000 depending on the level of experience
- Parking on-site
- 20 days of working holiday plus bank holidays
