Our clients, a well-established Construction company in Ipswich, are looking for an experienced Construction Labourer to join their team.
My client specialises in the Commercial and Education sector and their expertise is the refurbishment of flat roofing. With a combined experience of over 40+ years, they are able to offer solutions across a variety of trades which suits the client’s needs.
As a Labourer your role will involve the following:
- Loading and unloading materials, such as insulation, timber and felt
- Assisting the team on site
- Carrying felt up the scaffolding to the working person
- Tidying and clearing up the site
- Removing any fencing
- Make sure the site is in a tidy and workable order
To be considered for the Labourer role you must have:
- You must be DBS checked
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a labouring role
- Full driving licence
Working hours:
- Monday – Friday 7 am -3/4:00 pm.
- On days when they are restricted due to the weather and you are unable to work, you will be required to catch up on the workload on other days.
- This may involve working some weekends.
Our client is offering the successful Labourer:
- £18,000 - £22,000 depending on the level of experience
- 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays
- Bonus scheme after the probationary period has ended
- Pension scheme
