Our clients are looking to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator to join their successful team in Coventry. They are a close-knit team within a well-established firm. They look after around 6,000 client households across the Midlands and have grown through their ethos of offering quality face-to-face financial planning advice and their commitment to building trusted and enduring relationships with clients.

The role of a Financial Planning Administrator will include:

  • Shadowing a senior administrator
  • Attending Openwork and Future Perfect training courses
  • Collating client information
  • Preparing illustrations and reports for client meetings
  • Regularly speaking with clients and brokers over the telephone
  • Producing annual portfolio reports
  • Writing Suitability Letters
  • Managing cases to completion
  • Adjusting clients’ portfolios
  • Cashflow modelling
  • Booking and confirming appointments
  • Updating our CRM system

Career Progression:

They have a structured training programme for candidates to build up the practical, background knowledge and skills to be effective Financial Planning Administrators.

After 6 months in your admin role, you’ll join a study programme with the Openwork Academy to gain the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, while continuing with your current role.

Our client will increase your salary by £500pa as you pass each unit. Upon passing the Level 4 Diploma, you will be qualified as a Paraplanner.

To be considered for this position of Financial Planning Administrator, you must have the following:

  • Have at least 12 month’s office experience (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • IT proficient – especially in Excel
  • Have a genuine interest in financial planning

Our client is offering the successful Financial Planning Administrator:

  • £20,000-£25,000 basic salary
  • Salary increase when units passed
