Our clients, a well-established and successful Property Consultancy business, are looking to recruit a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their team.
As a Graduate Building Surveyor your role will involve:
- Assisting with the delivery of projects on budget and schedule
- Supporting Building Surveyors and Seniors with scheme designs, costings, programmes for completion of projects and specification of works
- Support with the preparation of designs, specifications and documents for tender and advice on appointing contractors, designers and procurement routes
- Shadow Building Surveyors and Seniors to understand our liaison with clients, contractors and all members of the project delivery team on day to day basis.
- Prepare the necessary work and documentation for internal and external project meetings
- Determine the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analysing defects. Support Surveyors and Seniors with proposals for repair
- Assist with specialist surveys including schedules of dilapidations under Senior supervision
- Actively learn and support Senior members of the team when determining the health and safety aspects of buildings
- Assist with planning applications and advising on property legislation and building regulations
To be considered for the Graduate Building Surveyor role you must have:
- Desire to undertake a degree in Building Surveying
- Good problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to learn quickly with Computer-Aided Design software
- Full UK Driving Licence
Working hours:
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll be required to work Monday - Friday
Our client is offering the successful Graduate Building Surveyor
- Basic salary of circa £20,000
