My clients are currently recruiting for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join their expanding team. My clients are a reputable IFA firm based in Brighton. As a Mortgage Administrator your role will involve:

  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises.
  • Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products.
  • Liaising with financial services providers and other professionals.
  • Reconciliation of Procuration Fees Received.
  • Working with clients, including handling any queries regarding fees and chasing of fees.
  • Deal with incoming/outgoing post, scanning, printing.
  • Communicating the progress of the applications to clients.
  • Obtaining documents from clients and uploading to lenders, providers, and client files.
  • Assessing the validity of documents and cross-reference to verify.
  • Liaising with underwriters, solicitors, accountants, and estate agents.
  • Proactively progressing individual cases from mortgage application through to completion.
  • Problem solving when required to move purchases and re-mortgages along.
  • Working to deadlines to ensure customers achieve their dream move.
  • Prioritising and organising your workload to ensure the best outcome is achieved.
  • Maintaining compliance with the FCA rules and principles and Code of Practice.
  • Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided, and also the advised products.

To be considered for the Mortgage Administrator role you must have:

  • Extensive experience of working in an open-plan office environment 
  • Financial Services administration/mortgage processing experience
  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • Excellent administrative Skills
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent attention to detail    

Working hours:

As a Mortgage Administrator, you’ll be required to work Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid working role. 

Our client is offering the successful Mortgage Administrator:

  • A basic salary of £18,000 - £22,000 (Depending on Experience)
