Our client is a growing impartial Mortgage & protection brokerage based in Kent, providing exceptional service to clients across the Southeast. They are part of one of the UK’s biggest and most successful networks. Due to their expanding business, and increased number of lead sources they require an additional Mortgage & protection broker to maintain their high levels of service to both clients and the professionals they work with.
My clients are open to both employed and self-employed advisers, with the flexibility to work from the office and home. They are also flexible on part-time candidates.
Duties included in the role of a Mortgage & Protection Adviser:
- Identify customers’ financial needs and advise them with the products that would best suit their requirements.
- Ensure clients understand the products and services offered and the process.
- Complete customer interviews by appointment and on-demand and make sales that meet customers’ needs.
- Look for opportunities to attract new customers and professionals.
- Prepare for future appointments, gathering appropriate information from colleagues generating referrals.
- Deliver a professional and credible service and ensure your knowledge is up to date at all times.
- Working towards sales targets and always knowing how you are performing against these.
Requirements for the role of a Mortgage & Protection Adviser:
- CeMap or other industry-recognised qualification
- CAS
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellence in your field.
- Outstanding levels of customer service
- Full driving licence
Salary/Package:
- Basic £25,000 - £32,500 DOE
- OTE £60,000 - £80,000
- Up to 25% commission
- Added incentives
- Self-employed option available
