Our clients, a well-established Financial Planning group, are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their successful team based in Solihull. They are planning to move their wealth team to a new, modern office due to their exciting expansion plans.

To be considered for this Paraplanner vacancy, you must have the following skills:

  • You are at least Level 4 Diploma qualified, preferably working towards being Chartered.
  • You want to work with a company that will support your ongoing development including study support
  • You are looking to move into a role that focuses on utilizing, and building upon your existing high-level technical skills as well as fostering strong client relationships
  • Ability to deploy your skills in the preparation of complex suitability letters, replacement cases, fund switches, withdrawals etc.
  • You like to carry out compliant and detailed research and technical analysis to support advice given by the Financial Planners.
  • Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in both your written and numerical work

The responsibilities of this Paraplanner position will include:

  • Monitor risk exposure, fees and performance
  • Produce sustainability reports and produce templates to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Produce and distribute annual reviews and regular client communications
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed on targets
  • Supporting the Financial Planner(s) in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
  • Researching products and producing detailed reports for presentation to the client. 
  • Managing a busy workload to tight timescales. 

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37 hour week

For the successful Paraplanner, our client is offering the following:

  • Up to £40,000 basic depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme based on achievement of budget
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme
  • Death in service scheme
  • 28 days holiday with the option to buy 10 more days annual in a full holiday year
