Are you an experienced Project Manager who's looking for a new and exciting challenge? 

We're currently looking for a Principal Project Manager to join our clients in the Ipswich area. Our clients are a dynamic and evolving Design and Property Consultancy. 

As a Principal Project Manager your role will involve:

  • To lead a team of Project Managers and advise clients on the strategic management of projects and portfolios
  • Pro-actively promote business development through professional networking and personal contacts
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to the QA systems and maintaining the quality of outputs across the team including review and checking of reports, tender documentation and Contract Documentation as required
  • Deliver all projects on time, within budget and scope
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risk
  • Lead the Project Management team strategy for the business
  • Ensuring Asset Information requirements and/or MIDP requirements set out in the Employers Information Requirements and delivered on a BIM project

To be considered for the Principal Project Manager role you must have:

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager in the Construction and Project Management industry
  • Degree level qualified and preferably with professional qualifications e.g. MRICS, CIOB, RIBA or similar
  • Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Experience of private and public sectors preferred
  • Project or Asset Management experience or qualification
  • PRINCE II certification is desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project
  • Effective communication skills across a range of contacts
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

Working hours:

As a Principal Project Manager, you’ll be required to work full time, Monday to Friday. My client is offering flexible working hours and a 70/30% working from the office and at home split

Our client is offering the successful Principal Project Manager:

  • £52,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
