Our client, a Design and Property Consultants who are currently recruiting for a Senior Landscape Architect to join their busy team in Ipswich.

As a Senior Landscape Architect your role will involve:
- Supporting the Principal Landscape Architect in the delivery and management of projects in the Landscape Design team
- Lead and manage all aspects of Landscape Design for a project, delegating responsibility for tasks throughout the Landscape team
- Working with other professionals within the company and also with third party consultants/contractors and suppliers
- Proactively seek to improve the Landscape studio’s design processes
- Ensure projects are completed on budget and to schedule, overseeing and resolving any issues that may arise
- Workaround constraining factors such as planning legislation, building regulations, environmental impact and project budget
- Produce BIM compliant working drawings and specifications
- Prepare applications for planning
To be considered for the Senior Landscape Architect role you must have:
- Post-graduate degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
- Have 5+ years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
- Good design and drawing skills
- A keen interest in the environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals
- An understanding of the relationship between people, buildings and the wider environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- CAD proficiency
Working hours:
As a Senior Landscape Architect, you’ll be required to work Monday to Friday full time. The company are offering a flexible working pattern and 70/30% working from the office and home split.
