Our clients, a Design and Property Consultancy in Matlock are currently recruiting for a Trainee Building Services Engineer to join their team. You will be assisting in the delivery of building services design for the Building Services team.
As a Trainee Building Services Engineer your role will involve:
- Assisting in the design of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for both new and existing buildings
- Learn design calculations, schematics and detailed specifications and drawings using industry-standard design software and specification methods
- Train in lighting design using industry-standard software and methods
- Contribute to standard tender packages, undertaking analysis of tenders, monitoring and management of cost, quality and timescales
To be considered for the Trainee Building Services Engineer role you must have:
- You will be enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Be prepared to undertake a professional qualification in Building Services Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Able to work effectively under pressure
Working hours:
As a Trainee Building Services Engineer, you’ll be required to work full-time Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
