Our client, a well-established firm with offices across the UK, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Northwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company with an excellent reputation.

As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and leading on all aspects Company Accounting / Accounting Compliance e.g., ARMA / RICS Regulation
  • Managing & developing the Finance Team to ensure efficient, smooth day to day operations
  • Designing and managing the company’s financial systems including overseeing cashflow
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Liaising with external Accountants on a regular basis
  • Driving Profitability and efficiency
  • Client Money / Client Accounts
  • Service Charge Accounts

In order to be successful in this Finance Manager role, you will need the following:

  • Experience/background in a Professional Services environment
  • Ideally a professional Accounting qualification i.e., ACCA / CIMA /ACA etc 
  • Strong accurate reporting skills and experience with the ability to instil robust financial controls
  • Sound commercial knowledge and a keen eye for detail
  • A strong communicator, capable of leading a team and influencing decisions.
  • A committed team player who also possesses a proven track record leading a team
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and transparently
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated with a well-organised approach
  • A resourceful and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and to deadlines
  • Highly IT literate – you will be using Microsoft Office packages as well as two other packages daily, i.e., MRI QUBE Property Management software and Xero accounting software

Working hours for the successful Finance Manager will be:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5.30pm

For this Finance Manager position, our clients are offering the following:
