Our client, a well-regarded property firm, is seeking a Land Assistant to support their Land Director in day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn the land and acquisition process from the ground up.
No prior experience is required, just enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Some knowledge of property or land would be helpful, but full training will be given.
The successful Land Assistant will be offered:
- £25,000 basic salary
- Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (no weekends!)
- Use of a pool car for site visits

As a Land Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Land Director with daily tasks and project research
- Learning how to identify, assess, and track land opportunities
- Helping to prepare reports, letters, and other documentation
- Supporting communication with landowners, agents, and consultants
- Attending site visits and meetings as needed (pool car provided)
To be considered for the Land Assistant role, you will need:
- A genuine interest in land, property, or development
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the land and new homes sector
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Professional and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Some experience in property, planning, or land (helpful but not essential)
