Duties of a Lettings Manager:
- Leading daily team meetings for the Lettings department
- Coaching and supporting the team to consistently achieve KPI targets
- Monitoring individual performance and conducting regular one‑to‑one reviews
- Driving team development, progression, and continuous improvement
- Maintaining a strong focus on generating both new and repeat business
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
- Liaising with Tenants and coordinating property viewings aligned with their requirements
- Negotiating offers and securing new tenancy agreements
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a risk‑averse approach across the business
What you will require to be a successful Lettings Manager:
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Minimum of two years’ experience in residential lettings at Senior Negotiator level or above
- Strong team player who contributes to a positive, collaborative working environment
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Skilled in developing and implementing branch‑specific business plans
- Capable of monitoring, analysing, and responding to local competitor performance
- Solid understanding of current legislation governing Residential Lettings
- Able to manage high‑volume, time‑sensitive workloads efficiently
- Recognised for delivering exceptional customer service
- Confident working independently and using own initiative
