We're recruiting for an ambitious Lettings Manager to join a successful and well-established estate agency in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated property professional looking to take ownership of a thriving lettings department, drive business growth, and develop a high-performing team.
You'll play a key role in increasing market share, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the continued success of the branch.
The Role
As a Lettings Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day performance and growth of the lettings department
- Provide expert lettings advice and deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Drive profitability by identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Carry out rental valuations and advise landlords on pricing and marketing strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and key stakeholders
- Coach, mentor, and develop your team through regular training and daily meetings
- Monitor local market trends and maintain expert knowledge of the Croydon lettings market
- Ensure properties are marketed effectively to maximise results
- Consistently achieve and exceed branch and individual performance targets
Lettings Manager Requirements
- Previous experience within residential lettings, ideally at management level
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow market share
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the Croydon property market is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
