My client is a rapidly growing, independent mortgage firm looking to recruit an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join their expanding team, they are seeing significant growth in business levels, and therefore have the need for more help. They are a Market Leader in a very exciting and growing industry that offers stability and challenge. They are experiencing loads of high-quality leads on a daily basis. My clients do not make any cold calls and there are no pressures on sales or up-selling of additional products. You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team, part of something meaningful and still small enough to see the impact of your work and the contribution you make.
Responsibilities of a Mortgage Adviser:
- Identify customers’ financial needs and advise them with the products that would best suit their requirements.
- Ensure clients understand the products and services offered and the process.
- Complete customer interviews by appointment and on-demand and make sales that meet customers’ needs.
- Look for opportunities to attract new customers and professionals.
- Prepare for future appointments, gathering appropriate information from colleagues generating referrals.
- Deliver a professional and credible service and ensure your knowledge is always up to date.
- Working towards sales targets and always knowing how you are performing against these.
Requirements of a Mortgage Adviser:
- CeMap or other industry-recognised qualification.
- Experience in a mortgage adviser role
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellence in your field
- Proven track record of working in a targeted sales environment
- Outstanding levels of customer service
- Attention to detail
Working Hours for this Mortgage Adviser role:
- Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm (No Weekends)
Benefits for this Mortgage Adviser role:
- £33,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary
- Strong Bonus Structure – OTE £60,000
