Our clients, a well-established Construction company are looking to employ a Pre Construction Planner to join their team in Ipswich.
As a Pre Construction Planner your role will involve:
- To manage the pre-construction stage of project planning contributing positively to winning new work for the business.
- Provide planning support to the Preconstruction team ensuring all programme, logistics and delivery aspects are compliant with relevant legislation, tender brief, and contract requirement
- Engage with the Construction Director/Manager to discuss options, sequence, and methodology
- Analyse Tender documents and identify required planning responses
- Assess programme and delivery risks and recommend mitigation
- Assess safety risks and compile a suitable Method Statement for project delivery.
- Provide planning input to the tender submission primarily a whole life programme, logistics plan and method statement
- Support 4D digital aspects of tender evaluation and submission
To be considered for the Pre Construction Planner role you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a previous role
- Technical knowledge
- Full understanding of planning principles
- 4D planning experience would be desirable
- Strong customer service skills
- An understanding of the market in which the company operates
- Experience in monitoring and control of costs against budgets
- HNC/BTEC Higher Diploma or Degree
Working hours:
As a Pre Construction Planner, you’ll be required to work full time, Monday to Friday.
