We're recruiting for an experienced Residential Surveyor to join a forward-thinking surveying business as it continues to grow its residential division. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an expanding organisation where you'll focus on delivering high-quality residential survey reports without the pressures of mortgage valuations or lender panel work.

The Role

As a Residential Surveyor, you will:

  • Carry out Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys across your designated region
  • Produce clear, detailed reports using the company's digital reporting platform
  • Manage your own diary and workload while maintaining high professional standards
  • Deliver completed reports promptly, including same-day turnaround where appropriate
  • Ensure every survey is completed accurately and in line with industry best practice
  • Survey residential investment properties, primarily purchased by professional landlords and property investors

Residential Surveyor requirements:

  • MRICS qualification essential (AssocRICS candidates with relevant surveying experience will also be considered)
  • Around two years' post-qualification experience
  • Previous experience carrying out Level 2 residential surveys
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and common building defects
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a regional workload
  • Professional, customer-focused approach
