We're recruiting for an ambitious Sales Manager to join a well-established and successful estate agency in Southsea, Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven property professional with a proven track record in winning instructions, leading high-performing teams, and driving branch performance.
You'll take full ownership of the branch, leading from the front to deliver exceptional customer service, develop your team, and maximise business growth.
The Role
As a Sales Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day performance, profitability, and growth of the branch
- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Conduct property valuations and secure new instructions
- Provide expert pricing and marketing advice to help vendors achieve the best possible sale price
- Build strong relationships with vendors, buyers, and local stakeholders
- Drive new business generation and maximise branch opportunities
- Stay up to date with the local property market and industry trends
- Match buyers with suitable properties and oversee an exceptional customer journey
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and operational procedures
- Consistently achieve and exceed branch sales and performance targets
Sales Manager Requirements
- Previous experience managing or leading within an estate agency
- Proven success in winning instructions and driving property sales
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a successful team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded with a focus on business growth and profitability
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Ambitious, target-driven, and resilient
- Professional approach with excellent organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
