History

GCB Agency Recruitment was formed in 2010 by Gareth Broom, an experienced Estate Agency Manager. He was left frustrated throughout his estate agency career by the quality, effectiveness and reliability of recruitment companies that he had used.

In an industry as busy and fast-moving as property, there often wasn’t the time to effectively recruit directly, yet the recruitment companies that he used didn’t understand what he was really looking for or didn’t seem to care. Following a stint at a recruitment company, he identified a gap in the market for a property recruitment company that actually knew what was required to succeed in the industry and would be able to supply the quality to estate agencies, no matter what their size or budget.

Recruiting initially throughout East Anglia, expansion quickly followed, with specialist Area Managers being brought in to develop further regions of the UK. The business relocated in 2012 to a new office where the team continued to expand to cover the entire UK and pushing further into international marketplaces.

To further assist our customers, specialist departments for Land and New Homes Development was also created in 2014/15.

Finally, in 2017 having continued expanding we out grew our office we therefore relocated to a new Head Office to double the size in order to assist in our continued growth.
