You'll be joining a well-established team of multiple Property Managers, supporting a hands-on Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day running of the department. This is a brilliant step up for someone currently leading a small team or a seasoned Property Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

  • Realistic OTE of up to £35,000
  • End-of-year profit
  • Ongoing training and professional development, including ARLA sponsorship
  • Long-term career progression as the business continues to expand
  • Hybrid working
  • No weekends

In a Head of Property Management role, your duties will be:

  • Acting as a point of escalation for more complex issues, providing support and guidance to team members.
  • Monitoring team workload, stepping in where needed to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Managing a small personal portfolio, handling maintenance issues, liaising with tenants and landlords, arranging contractor visits, and processing invoices.
  • Driving customer service excellence and strengthening client and tenant relationships.
  • Supporting the Assistant Manager in developing relationships with approved contractors and sourcing new suppliers.
  • Getting involved in team events and internal initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative culture.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in property management, ideally with some exposure to team leadership.
  • ARLA qualification preferred, but not essential (support can be provided).
  • Must live a commutable distance from Chelmsford
  • A strong customer-first approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard property management systems.
