We're recruiting for a Trainee Surveyor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice working across both residential and commercial property sectors. Whether you're pursuing the MRICS pathway through a RICS-accredited degree or progressing towards AssocRICS via a SAVA qualification, you'll receive dedicated mentoring, ongoing CPD, and clear opportunities for long-term career advancement.

The Role

As a Trainee Surveyor, you will:

  • Carry out a range of valuation and surveying work under the guidance of an experienced mentor and line manager
  • Conduct RICS Level 2 Surveys
  • Undertake RICS Level 3 Surveys, with full training provided where required
  • Complete Red Book Valuations
  • Assist with bespoke Building Surveys
  • Work on both private and panel instruction work
  • Liaise with the centralised hub regarding appointments and scheduling
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure service standards and deadlines are met
  • Develop your technical knowledge and surveying expertise through ongoing training and professional development
  • Contribute to the continued success and growth of the business

Trainee Surveyor Requirements

  • Minimum RICS-accredited degree or SAVA qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional approach
  • Positive, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently when required
  • Passion for developing a long-term career within the surveying profession
  • Full UK driving licence
