The Role
As an Assistant Lettings Manager, you will:
- Support the Lettings Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy residential lettings branch.
- Take responsibility for branch operations and team leadership in the manager’s absence.
- Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve both individual and branch targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to landlords, tenants, and prospective clients.
- Contribute to business growth through proactive client engagement and market expertise.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and attention to detail across all aspects of the lettings process.
- Maintain professional standards and promote best practice throughout the team.
Assistant Lettings Manager Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' consistent experience within residential lettings
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working within a target-driven and fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, influence, and inspire others
- Positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
