We're recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a highly reputable and well-established surveying practice based in Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor seeking a varied workload across both residential and commercial projects, with the flexibility of hybrid working and strong administrative support.

The Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will:
- Carry out Level 2 Home Surveys and, ideally, Level 3 Building Surveys
- Undertake a mix of residential and commercial surveying work
- Prepare detailed and professional survey reports
- Handle dilapidations instructions and associated reporting
- Conduct expert witness reports where required
- Manage party wall matters and related consultancy work
- Deliver high-quality advice and service across all instructions
Chartered Building Surveyor Requirements
- Ideally, MRICS or FRICS qualified
- Surveyors currently working towards APC accreditation will also be considered
- Proven experience carrying out Level 2 Building Surveys
- Experience with Level 3 Surveys preferred
- Knowledge of dilapidations and project work advantageous
- Strong report-writing and technical surveying skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
