Our client, a busy independent estate agency with offices both in the UK and Internationally are looking for a full-time and experienced individual to join their team in expanding East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity with someone with experience as a Property Manager to join an excellent Independently owned company with excellent support and earning.  

Working hours for the successful Property Manager:

  • Monday to Friday (No weekends)
  • Office-based.

As a Property Manager you will be offered:

Requirements for the role of Property Manager:

  • Previous Property Management experience is essential for this position
  • ARLA qualified desirable
  • Highly organised and a positive work ethic
  • Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve
  • A great attitude and ability to deliver a high quality of work
  • Be able to work well as part of a team and individually

The responsibilities of the role as a Property Manager:

  • Tenant referencing, drafting tenancy agreements, coordinating furnishings, and closing files after move ins.
  • Arranging inventory reports, check-ins/check-outs, deposit returns, and managing disputes.
  • Instructing contractors, scheduling appointments, liaising with tenants/suppliers, and following up on outstanding works.
  • Organising Gas Safety Certificates, Electrical Reports, and EPCs through certified contractors.
  • Handling general queries, resolving maintenance issues, and maintaining ongoing relationships.
  • Negotiating new terms, preparing updated ASTs, extensions, and assignments.
  • Visiting properties and conducting routine inspections.
  • Onboarding new properties, liaising with developers/sub-agents, and meeting landlords during UK visits.
  • Managing enquiries, overseeing key control, and supporting general office operations.
